history
1885
The First Methodist Episcopal Church of Kaukauna was started when Norman Brokaw and his wife came to Kaukauna from Marinette. The land for the original church, at 110 Catherine Street, was purchased and construction began, with the cornerstone laid on August 31, 1886
1970
Construction of the new church at our current location, 2300 E Wisconsin Ave, completed in June and the name was changed to Kaukauna United Methodist Church
1992
An expansion to the church was completed in September adding office space, an elevator, nursery, and Sunday school rooms
1993
Name was changed to Peace United Methodist Church
2000
The Pipe Organ was rebuilt and enlarged
2012
Construction of the new Narthex and carport areas was complete
2002
The Family Church began as an outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church of Neenah meeting at Maplewood Middle School then at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church
2009
The Family Church began worshiping in it's new location, 2318 American Drive, Neenah and became an officially chartered United Methodist Church
2023
The Family Church had its last service in Neenah and began worshiping at Peace United Methodist Church
2024
Peace United Methodist Church and The Family Church merged to become Peace Family United Methodist Church
